With over 40 years of experience and the shortest lead-time worldwide, Transmotors is a true expert in converting different vehicle-types from renowned brands such as Toyota, Nissan, and Iveco, just to name a few. We can help you with both long-term and short-term conversion-projects. All the vehicles we work on are transformed into special-purpose vehicles, tailored to meet the technical requirements of your specific industry.
Our team of specialists has a deep knowledge of various conversions. Thanks to our in-house operations at our own workshop, every conversion that we perform is done according to a complete, thought-out process. Only when it results in an even quicker process, we will outsource a conversion, but it will still be carried out to our standards.
At Transmotors, we only use quality materials for our conversions. The same applies to additional accessories. That is why we fit accessories from well-knowned and reliable brands: ARB, AFN, Warn, Old Man Emu (OME), Koni, Safety-Devices, OSRAM, RIVAL, Bushtech, Carryboy, Smartcap, BFGoodrich, Altendorf, and SEPAR.

Mining vehicles
We have years of experience in serving the mining industry, supplying 4x4 pickup trucks and dump trucks fitted with extended crane arms and auxiliary footing to securely position the trucks with the extra weight.
Our pickup trucks can be modified to cross rugged terrain to access remote areas. We carry a large stock of industry-favored Land Cruisers and Hilux’s, which are especially equipped to the latest mining requirements. At our workshop, these Toyota mining vehicles are fitted to perfection with any requirements you may have, such as bull bars, lights and signaling options, ROPS (roll cages), FOPS, winches, roof racks, buggy whips and communication equipment.
Oil & Gas
To service the oil industry even better, we offer pickup trucks with a wide variety of specifications that improve the safety of the vehicles: battery isolation switches, extended roof racks, double fuel filters, roll cages (ROPS), FOPS, and spark arresters. Extra security features are expertly fitted in our own workshop to meet the requirements of this safety-sensitive industry.
Construction & maintenance
We provide various types of Toyota conversions specifically for the construction and maintenance business. Options include a Toyota Land Cruiser converted to a platform truck and fitted with a 12-meter platform or the Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux equipped with a mobile workshop setup. Our conversions can be exported worldwide for use in the construction and maintenance sector.
HEALTH CARE
At Transmotors we have a long history of converting the Toyota Hiace and Land Cruiser models into Toyota ambulances. The continuous power supply and/or power supply through ignition provide the opportunity for a wide range of medical devices to be connected in the back of the car. These vehicles can also be equipped with radio communication devices and they can fully serve as mobile transport units for transporting blood and organ transplants.
Tourism & transport
Transmotors offers and converts different types of vehicles for the tourism industry, such as the Toyota Hiace and Toyota Coaster. We also export a range of heavy-duty bulk transport vehicles worldwide. We can convert these vehicles to our customer’s specifications as well. A wide range of truck types is available, such as flatbed trucks, dump trucks, tank trucks, and truck tractors. Other types of heavy-duty trucks that we offer are: box trucks, cooling unit trucks, refrigerated trucks, catering trucks, crane trucks and mobile laboratories.
Fire prevention
Fire prevention is crucial in remote areas that can be difficult to reach. Luckily, the Toyota Land Cruisers and Toyota Hilux pickup trucks – which do well in rough terrain – can be converted to fire fighting trucks to patrol and combat wildfire. Fire extinguishing equipment can be securely mounted in the trunk and we can install radio communication equipment and extra patrol lights. As a result, our multipurpose trucks are suited to enter hazardous areas.
GovernmentaL & NGO
We offer many vehicles for various governmental purposes. For example, by mounting mash guard windshields, sirens and radio equipment, our Toyota Land Cruisers can be converted to Police/Tactical Team vehicles. Our pick-up trucks and 4x4 station wagons can easily be converted to lifeguard trucks, equipped with radio communication equipment, sirens and medical/safety equipment.
Diplomatic
For the safe transport of people and valuable or fragile materials, we create robust and reliable vehicle conversions of different Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, KIA, Hyundai, and Renault models. Our vehicles are widely used by governmental organizations such as embassies and consulates, but non-governmental and humanitarian organizations as well.
Amphibious Vehicles
Transmotors is proud to offer the Toyota Amphicruiser, a truly unique amphibious car. The Amphicruiser is a great option for many industries, anything from the soil testing industry, governments, NGOs and human relief organizations to coastguards, waterway construction and water taxis.
The Toyota Amphicruiser is constructed from the extremely durable and reliable Land Cruiser and performs extremely well in rough conditions on both land and water. The Amphicruiser is a high quality and robust all-wheel driven vehicle. Thanks to the jet engine with PTO (Power Take Off) it reaches a speed of 12 km/hr (approx. 6,5 knots) on water. It maneuvers easily through remote and harsh terrains both on land and on water and is very safe to use.
Logistics
SWIFT SEA SHIPMENT
Thanks to the ideal location of our warehouse and workshop, close to the international ports of both Antwerp and Rotterdam, we can ship all vehicles to any destination. We have many years of experience with exporting vehicles and spare parts to Africa, Middle and South America and many other destinations.
Air Freight
Next to the seaports, our workshop and warehouse are also located just a short distance from two major international airports, Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and Brussels Airport. Additionally, Brussels Airport is an important gateway to Africa, with connections to multiple Sub-Saharan destinations. Our location enables us to ship your order of any size by air freight, ensuring a swift delivery around the globe.
EXPORT DOCUMENTATION
Transmotors has the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). Customs control is often subject to delays, but our AEO-status allows us to ship your vehicle(s) swiftly and smoothly. We optimize delivery trajectories worldwide, and we arrange timely logistics at the port of destination to deliver your vehicles on-site. In addition, we can monitor overseas deliveries, whether it’s spare parts, a single converted vehicle, or a shipment with a larger batch of vehicles to any destination.
TRANSMOTORS’ APPROACH TO CONVERSIONS
Once we know exactly what kind of conversion the customer needs, we will look for the most efficient way to do the conversion. Before we start the conversion in our workshop, we will first design a customized 3D-model that is based on the customer’s requirements. With this model, we can further develop the exact design of the conversion. In this stage, there is always room for input and improvements from the client’s side.
Once the model is up to the client’s standard, we will source the necessary parts and ensure they arrive on time. We perform the conversion in our own workshop, according to a complete, thought-out process. We perform extensive quality checks to ensure the conversion meets the required standard. We offer many different models for conversions that make for high quality vehicles. Toyota vehicles may be our core business but of course we can convert other vehicle brands, such as Nissan and Iveco.
